On December 10th, the Oklahoma Universal Human Rights 
Alliance will honor human rights heroes from around our
great state. A recognition program  will take place at the
State Capitol. More information can be found here:
Hilda is an outstanding young professional committed to empowering minorities and improving Oklahoma's multicultural & global education environment.

Through her unique experiences & volunteering, she serves as an example for her peers and mentor for the youth. Her genuine desire to empower others is evident through her work as a community organizer for the last 20 years.

Hilda serves as the pageant Director of Miss Guatemala Oklahoma. She has hosted & organized several events and fashion shows to raise money for undocumented immigrants. She has performed multicultural, folkloric & indigenous dances at hundreds of events around the state raising awareness about different cultures.

Hilda's service to our state & minority communities is admirable. She serves on the board of the World Experiences Foundation, the Hispanic Arts Council of OK, the American GI Forum of Oklahoma & other civil rights organizations.

She was one of the founding members of Guatemaltecos Manos Unidas.
